Passenger Dies On Spot In Road Accident Outside Gweru

One person, the passenger, has died on the spot while the driver sustained serious injuries in a road accident that happened outside Gweru.

The Herald reports that a blue Toyota Mark X they were travelling in rammed the back of a haulage truck about 3 km outside Gweru along the Gweru-Kwekwe highway on Friday morning.

The state-run publication’s crew went to the scene and found the injured driver still calling for help under the haulage truck.
