Econet has sent a message to subscribers which states that the MNO is giving customers 3 free minutes to be used tonight between 8 PM and 9 PM. The message which further thank subscribers for being patient while their service was intermittent on Friday reads:

We thank you for your patience during the 24 July service interruptions. We truly appreciate your continued support and apologise for the inconvenience cause.
Econet is embroiled in a legal battle against the government after the former raided the later’s office seeking information to be used in the government’s investigation into parallel markets foreign currency deals.
