• Dzamara had a Doctorate in Strategic Management from the Christ University in India and an MBA from Zimbabwe Open University.
• Patson was as an activist, motivational speaker, politician, and author who wrote,

• Just like his missing brother Itai, Patson was an activist who would stage one-man demos like when he staged a one-man demo at the Parliament Buiding holding a banner that said:

I will never be silent until Itai Dzamara is accounted for. I will never be silent until Zimbabwe is fixed

• Dzamara made headlines in 2016 when he staged a one-man demo at the national sports stadium holding a banner that demanded to know the whereabouts of his missing brother Itayi.  State security agents manhandled Dzamara and assaulted him to the point of him being hospitalised.
• Team Pachedu had started a go fund me for Dzamara’s treatment at the time of his death, his death came a few short days after it became public that the activist had colon cancer.
