Father Murders Son (13) For Telling His Mother The Truth
A Shurugwi man, Chenjerai Mandiziva, has appeared at Shurugwi Magistrates Courts facing a murder charge after he allegedly assaulted his thirteen-year-old son leading to his death.
Mandiziva of Plot Number 26 Edward farm in Shurugwi allegedly assaulted and killed Takunda John Murahwa on the 8th of this month.
The boy had “naively” told his mother that Mandiziva had spent the night away from the mine where they were working.
The now-deceased boy’s mother then confronted Mandiziva accusing him of infidelity.
In a fit of rage, Mandiziva reportedly assaulted his son until he died.

The State is opposing bail on the grounds that Mandiziva may interfere with state witnesses.
