Zanu PF Gokwe South DCC Polls Winners Planning To Stop 'Coerced' Rerun
2 years ago
Disgruntled winners of the Gokwe Zanu PF DCC Polls which were held last weekend have vowed to stop the proposed election reruns, ZimMorning Post reports. This came after Oppah Muchinguri while announcing election results this week noted that there is a possibility of a rerun in Gokwe and Manicaland.
This was revealed by a source that suspects the rerun is only being called for because Victor Matemadanda’s son lost in the DCC polls:
Our elections were properly held but his (Matemadanda) team was beaten hence he has coerced the national chairperson Oppah Muchinguri to call for a rerun.
FeedbackWe are wondering why our results were not confirmed when everything went well in Gokwe South
The source went on to say even those that lost the elections were shocked when they heard there will be a rerun in Gokwe because according to the source everything went well.
