Widespread thunderstorms and rain occurred yesterday, with heavier falls over the southern provinces;

The warm, humid and unstable weather conditions that are currently affecting the country should result in more cloudiness with rain and outbreaks of thunderstorms
across the country.
These storms may cause localized heavier rains (in excess of 30mm) in provinces such as Matabeleland North, all Mashonaland, Harare Metropolitan, and northern areas of Manicaland.

Rains are expected across the country from early morning with a few intermittent breaks.
These rains may be coupled with a few thunderstorms, as well as localized heavy downpours (in excess of 30mm) and destructive winds over Matabeleland North, Bulawayo Metropolitan, northern areas of Midlands, all Mashonaland, Harare Metropolitan, and northern districts of Manicaland provinces.
