PICTURES: Highway Opens Up And Swallows Car In Chimanimani

One person died on the spot when a highway in Chimanimani, known as the Skyline, collapsed just after Charter Bridge as a vehicle was passing.

Manicaland Provincial Roads Engineer Atherton Zindoga attributed the collapse to the incessant rains being received in the district and dismissed speculation of poor workmanship by the contractor.
