AUDIO: Sen Mbowa Confronts OPC Over Army Brutality

Indigenisation and Empowerment Parliamentary Portfolio Committee chairperson Senator Mbowa has confronted the office of the President and Cabinet over alleged army brutality.

Reports suggest soldiers enforcing COVID-19 regulations are brutalising residents. In a recorded phone call to Mr Govha, an official in the OPC, Senator Mbowa alleges that soldiers are terrorising Gokwe Nembudziya community in the name of enforcing the national lockdown.

The senator threatened to call President Mnangagwa himself if army brutality continues unabated. Below is the audio.
