He Is In Our Plans - Khama Billiat's Coach Breaks Silence On The Player's Fate
2 years ago
Kaizer Chiefs Technical Manager Gavin Hunt has finally address stories about Khama Billiat’s future that he is going to be sold to any willing buyer by Amakhosi by saying the player is in the club’s plans, the Chronicle reports.
Billiat whose contract at Amakhosi expires soon is yet to know his fate as reports of Kaizer Chiefs going through a financial crisis circulate.
But when reporters caught up with Billiat’s coach Hunt, he scoffed at the reports and said he doesn’t even know where the story came from:
He’s all in the plans. It’s only people like yourself [media] who say he’s not in the plans, so I don’t know where the story comes from.
So, ja, he’s in the plans and we need to get him fit. He had a broken leg, he’s jogging and running now, so hopefully in the next two weeks we can at least get him a little bit of game time 20 minutes here and there in some friendlies or something.

…Amakhosi are now prepared to sell Billiat if the right offer comes along, but for them to have a strong bargaining power the club has to exercise his one-year option and indications are that Chiefs plan to, otherwise they risk losing him without getting a cent
