Bunjira Critical Of Logarusic's 'Closed Door' Policy

Former  CAPS United and Warriors midfielder, Alois Bunjira says Zimbabwe should not shut the door on players who refused to play for the country in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Botswana and Zambia.

Bunjira was responding to a football fan who had asked if it was proper for the Warriors technical team to call up the likes of Macauley Bonne and Brendon Galloway for the AFCON finals next year considering that they never kicked a ball during the qualifiers. Bunjira responded:

Zimbabwe football does not end with Afcon 2022. We can use the qualification to lure players who can go on and do a job and qualify us for the 2026 World Cup.

Yes, kana uchirida babie iroro unoisa all effort, including sending flowers and presents…when you believe kuti once rakuda, she will make you happy.

What good is it to live an unhappy life when you know u can be happy with the woman you love but you prefer to leave her just because akambokuramba in high school?

Even when she now wants you and available? Unnecessary pride. Football is about winning and happiness.

That is why clubs tie players down with contracts. Even asisade… he will stay and play …🤣🤣

Tisavhairire ma players with 2022 qualification as if bhora rabva ragumira ipapo. 2022 qualification is not the highest we can go.

There is so much more football to play and so much more to achieve than this and after this Afcon 2022 qualification.

The squad needs to be continuously built. Not the time to stop and starting giving each other mbhasera.

January is still far away and each player will still have to earn their place. Those that helped us qualify, we will give them bonuses and say thank you.

But everyone Zimbabwean has to fight for his place for Afcon 2022.

Meanwhile, Warriors coach, Zdravko Logarusic, said that he will no longer call for duty players who have shown disrespect for the national team and the country.

Logarusic was speaking to the media on Sunday ahead of the Warriors’ clash against Chipolopolo at the National Sports Stadium in Harare tonight.
