The government has gazetted passport fees in United States Dollars (USD) although there is an option to pay in local currency. Pindula News presents the announcement.

[CAP. 4:01 Citizenship (Passport Fees) Regulations, 2021
IT is hereby notified that the Minister has, in terms of section 22 of the Citizenship of Zimbabwe Act [Chapter 4:01], made the following regulations:-
1. These regulations may be cited as the Citizenship Act (Passport Fees) Regulations, 2021.
2. The Minister has fixed passport fees as specified in the Schedule—
SCHEDULE: PASSPORT FEES
1. The fees payable for obtaining passport shall be for:—
(a) ordinary passport USD$60,00
(b) three-day passport USD$200,00
(c) emergency 24hr passport USD$318,00
2. Passport fees above shall have an option of paying in local currency at the prevailing rate.
