Veteran Journalist Saul Gwakuba Ndlovu Has Died
Bulawayo-based retired veteran journalist, writer and war veteran Saul Gwakuba Ndlovu has died aged 87.
Saul died at United Bulawayo Hospital (UBH) early Friday morning after a long illness.
His wife, Mrs Caroline Gwakuba Ndlovu, confirmed Saul’s death. She said:
Our father has indeed left us. He had not been feeling well for a while but despite his illness he was still very active refusing to be bedridden. Unfortunately he died at UBH this morning. As a family this is huge loss for usand. Burial arrangements will be made in due course.
Mrs Caroline Gwakuba Ndlovu said he had a heart operation early this year.
She said there were still to meet as a family to discuss burial arrangements. Mourners are gathered at number 16 Jungle Road, Trenance, Bulawayo.
