Zimbabwe Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Update 15 January 2022

Here is the Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Situation Report or Update for Zimbabwe by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) on 15 January 2022:
- 297 New Cases (All local) and 5 Deaths were reported today. (7-day rolling average* for new cases falls to 573 from 622 (yesterday).
- Vaccination Update: 4 643 received the 1st dose today bringing cumulative for 1st dose to 4 203 858, 4 128 received their 2nd dose bringing cumulative for 2nd dose to 3 228 693 while 1 713 received their 3rd dose bringing cumulative for 3rd dose to 25 798.
- As of 14 January 2022, @1500hrs there were 190 hospitalised cases: New Admissions (12), Asymptomatic 15, mild to moderate 153, severe 17 and 5 in Intensive Care Units.
- 3 835 tests done today (Positivity today was 8.0%)
- 1 095 new recoveries: National Recovery rate remains at 91% & Active cases go down 14 603
- As of today, Zimbabwe has recorded 225 934 Cases 206 088 recoveries & 5 243 Deaths.
