Chikosi-Mapepeta Selected For International Vocal Coaching Session
Gospel musician Hannah Chikosi-Mapepeta has been selected to represent Zimbabwe as one of the International Vocal Coaching Session coaches for the forthcoming virtual classes.
The other coaches who were selected for the virtual International Vocal Coaching Session include Papa Marcel Mboungou from France, coach Harley Maajabu, Henry Papa Mulaja, coaches Josh and John Lusala from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Christian Mbuyi from South Africa, Princess Gotin from Cameroon, Fortran Bigirimana, Daniel Gransard and James Dhech from France.
Speaking in an interview with NewsDay, Chikosi-Mapepeta, who is also a French teacher at Eaglesvale Senior School, said exposure to French-speaking audiences helped to be selected for the vocal coaching session. She said:
Being chosen to represent Zimbabwe in this International Vocal Coaching Session is a humbling experience for me. It shows the favour of God upon our Zimbabwean artistes and myself as an artiste.
God has given me a Francophone audience that is ever increasing and I featured with the Congolese gospel artistes Lifoko Du Ciel on his ZimTour concert, as well as John Fischer and Francis Nsela, who are based in the United States.

I also had the opportunity to have my music played on a Congolese television station called RTVA.
All these opportunities have exposed my talent to more Francophone audiences and have given me mileage in French-speaking circles to become part of this vocal coaching session.
