Mohamed Salah Signs New £350 000-a-week 3-year Deal At Liverpool

Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah has extended his stay with English Premier League club, Liverpool.

Salah was previously on a deal running until 2023 and the new deal will keep him at Liverpool until 2025.

The deal makes Salah the highest-paid player in the club’s history with wages in excess of £350 000 per week.

Salah, who finished last season as the Premier League’s top scorer, bagged 23 goals across 2 762 league minutes and 35 league appearances.

The former Chelsea and AS Roma forward has been a key man for Liverpool since joining from the Italian club in 2017.

The Egyptian has helped Jurgen Klopp’s side win the Premier League, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, Club World Cup, FA Cup and EFL Cup. Salah told liverpoolfc.com:

I feel great and [I am] excited to win trophies with the club. It’s a happy day for everyone.

It takes a little bit of time, I think, to renew, but now everything is done so we just need to focus on what’s next.

I think you can see in the last five or six years the team was always going [upwards].

Last season we were close to winning four, but unfortunately in the last week of the season, we lost two trophies.

I think we are in a good position to fight for everything. We have new signings as well.

We just need to keep working hard, have a good vision, be positive and go for everything again.
