Government Workers To Embark On 2-day Strike Following Elapse Of 14-day Strike Notice

Government workers have announced that they will embark on a 2-day strike on 27 July 2022 following the elapse of their 14-day strike notice. In a statement previously published by Pindula News, workers demanded a review of their salaries threatening to embark on industrial action if the employer fails or neglects to address their grievances. They wanted United States dollar-denominated salaries as was the case prior to October 2018. The government says it is incapacitated to pay them all in USD.
