Zimbabwe Weather Report And Forecast: 11 - 13 September 2022

The Meteorological Services Department of Zimbabwe has released a weather report and forecast for the period 11 – 13 September 2022. Pindula News presents the report and forecast below:
PREAMBLE
ZIMBABWE EVENING WEATHER REPORT AND FORECAST ISSUED AT 1600 MRS ON SUNDAY 11 SEPTEMBER 2022 VALID UNTIL TUESDAY 13 SEPTEMBER 2022.
There were clear skies and cold morning conditions in most areas. However, ground frost formation over the country was suppressed by the windy weather experienced overnight into today.
ACTIONS TO TAKE
Veld fires are extensive so farmers are expected to construct fire guards that are at least 9 metres wide and free of burning vegetative matter.
Feedback• Take enough fluids to compensate for water loss through dehydration with medical doctors’ advice.
• Keep warm at night and avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, especially during midday

• Farmers are urged to reduce the amount of grass on their farms and residential properties through hay baling, thatch and broom grass harvesting as a fire prevention measure.

Cloudy, cool and windy conditions with morning drizzle are expected in Matabeleland South, Bulawayo Metropolitan Province, and southern areas of Midlands, Masvingo and Manicaland. All other areas should experience mostly clear skies with a freshening breeze. It should be warm by day but cool both in the morning and evening.
