New Relationship: Mai Titi Says "I’m Unlucky, I've Stopped Trying"

Mai Titi real name Felistas Murata Edwards, a Zimbabwean comedienne, musician, entrepreneur and MC, has said she believes she is unlucky with relationships adding that she has stopped trying.

Her remarks came after reports that she was dating a man only identified as Gilbert, saying she doesn’t go for married men, and only dates divorcees. She posted on her social media pages:

Inini chaiye ndodanana nema divorcees, zvevarume vevanhu ratova drama. Shuwa a whole cat mom like me ndomirira baba kuti nhasi muri kuuya here or muna madam?

That will never happen, what if the wives bewitch me?

Pasi nekudanana nevarume vevanhu. Ndinotodawo kudiwa, but I’m unlucky, I have accepted it and I have stopped trying.

Mai Titi added that she would not entertain “nosy” people who want to know about her personal life. She said:

It’s a shame you want to see me crying all the time.

Moda kumanikidza ma relationships, kuita kumasonanidza nemapepa.

These days, I’m focusing on restoring what was stolen from me.

Kundiona ndirimumota nemunhu doesn’t mean ndodanana naye.

Handina history yekuita zvevarume vevanhu, ndingori ne history yekushandiswa nevarume kuti vaite mari vondisiya.

She said her past experiences with men have taught her to take her time and focus on herself than opening her heart to be wounded over and over again.

Mai Titi added that she also does not know how she is able to laugh and move on after all the heartbreaks.
