Almagamated Regional Trading Corporation commonly known as ART Corporation is a company that manufactures and distributes products. It is involved three key category products i.e paper, stationery and batteries and has three subsidiary companies each with its own category i.e Softex Tissue (paper) ,Eversharp (stationery) and Chloride Zimbabwe (batteries). It has distribution operations in Zimbabwe Malawi, Zambia and South Africa
Background
ART was incorporated as Beachmont Trading Limited in the British Virgin Islands in 1997 and changed its name to ART in 2001 by way of a special resolution of shareholders. On the 30th of September 2001, ART acquired TZI’s interests in its wholly owned subsidiaries Art Investments (Mauritius) Limited and Chloride Central Africa. [1]
