Giles Kuimba

Giles Kuimba was a Zimbabwean radio personality and Shona novelist. He wrote novels such as Tambaoga Mwanangu, Chivaraidze and Rurimi Inyoka. He also presented at the Rhodesia Broadcasting Corporation's Harare Studios.

Career

As a radio personality, Kuimba presented Dai Murimi Maiitonga Sei? which was a collection of episodes put into play form which presented a problem and listeners where required to come up with a solution to the situation. He also presented a number of shows at Harare Studios.

As a novelist Kuimba was known for his humor which he brought out in a collection of stories such as Chivaraidze. He is known for his novel Tambaoga Mwanangu which was a set book in Zimbabwe.
