Justice Maphosa is Zimbabwean businessman who is based in South Africa. He is the founder and CEO of Bigtime Strategic Group. The group comprises South African companies with business interests in the ICT sector; they include Computer Ink And Media solutions, Big time Strategic Consultants, Flame IT Strategy, and Flame IT Consulting.He also helped Mnangagwa to flee into exile in November 2017 when he had been fired from the government by Robert Mugabe.

In April 2018 it was reported that South Africa’s Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation, the Hawks were investigating Maphosa for allegedly committed multi-million Rand fraud. He was alleged to have illegally received tenders worth millions of Rand from many municipalities in the North West without following procurement procedures.
He is originally from Gwanda. Maphosa says he started his first business at the age of 13 when he would use his camera to do a photography Maphosa has said that he was born and he grew up in South Africa.
Assisting Emmerson Mnangagwa to go into exile
Maphosa helped Emmerson Mnangagwa go into exile after he had been fired from the government by Robert Mugabe.Mnangagwa spoke about his escape via Mozambique to South Africa during an interface with Zimbabwean business community-based in South Africa.During his narration of his escape from Zimbabwe to South Africa in November 2017,Mnangagwa mentioned that he contacted Maphosa who came to pick him up and made sure that his 16 days stay in South Africa was comfortable.
Allegations of Fraud
It was alleged that the Hawks South Africa’s Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation, investigated allegations that Maphosa committed a multi-million Rand fraud. He is alleged to have illegally received tenders worth millions of Rand from many municipalities in the North West without following procurement procedures. In February Maphosa was convicted of fraud for presenting fake tax invoices to the South Africa Revenue Services (SARS). He was given a suspended sentence of eight years after entering into a plea bargain to repay R843 080.40 by January 2019.
