Trivia

In September 2011 he gatecrashed a Delta Beverages event held at Glamis Arena after he demanded entry into the VIP stand claiming that he had every right because he once starred in an advertisement for them. Bhonzo complained to Delta Beverages officials, who were sponsoring the event before he was allowed entrance into the VIP section. He argued that since he was the face behind the hugely popular – Black Label Lager – commercial he should have been invited at the event.

Richard Rashai, of Delta Beverages, had to intervene on his behalf by smuggling him into the VIP arena. Bhonzo, who was in the company of a fellow artiste when the incident occurred, also had to be given vouchers together with his colleague despite the fact that they were both not accredited.[3]
