Munyaradzi Huni is a Zimbabwean journalist most known for being an editor at Zimpapers. Some of Huni's most prominent work was his political feature "Chimurenga Chronicles" in the Sunday Mail which featured Second Chimurenga war veterans narrating their experiences in the war.

In August 2018, Huni lost his job as Deputy Editor for the Sunday Mail in an exercise that saw several other journalists at Zimpapers (such as Napoleon Nyanhi and Ruvheneko Parirenyatwa) also lose their jobs.

Sanctions

Huni was one of the journalists, together with other state media journalists Judith Makwanya, Reuben Barwe, Pikirayi Deketeke, Caesar Zvayi and Happison Muchechetere who were placed under targeted sanctions by the European Union following the fast track land reform in the 2000s. The sanctions were only lifted in February 2012 after a review.
