Brief History
Mushowani Stars was founded in 2011 in Madziva, Mashonaland Central. The team was promoted to the Premier Soccer League in November 2018 after winning the ZIFA Northern Region Division One League championship. Mushowani became the second team from Mashonaland Central province after Mwana Africa to feature in the Premiership. The team was formed so as to create employment for the local community of Madziva as well as advertising the area as a non-sleeping giant of Mashonaland Central. The club holds an annual tournament at the beginning of each season to scout for players which is their main objective of developing local talent.
