News:Carl Joshua Ncube Releases Dates And Venues For World Record Attempt. Plans To Perform 31 Shows In 7 Days

Award winning stand up comedian Carl Joshua Ncube has released the dates and venues for his attempt at the Guinness World Record for the most comedy shows in 7 days.

Ncube will hold his shows from 17 to 23 August 2016 at various venues in and outside Zimbabwe.

Here are the dates and venues for Carl Joshua Ncube's world record attempt:

  • 17 August- Cape Town- Beerhouse Comedy Club (8:30pm), Cape Town Comedy Club (9:30pm)



  • 18 August- Johannesburg- Goliath Comedy Club (9pm)



  • 19 August- Ster Kinekor Eastgate (2:30pm), Moto Republik (5pm), Zimbabwe German Society (7pm), Sopranos Coffee Shop Avondale (8:30pm), New Ambassador Hotel Rooftop (9:30pm)



  • 20 August- Cresta Lodge (9am), Solution Centre Highlands (11am), Ster Kinekor Sam Levy (12:30pm), Ster Kinekor Westgate (2:30pm), Prince Edward School (5pm), Alliance Francaise Old Mutual Theater (6pm), Reps Theater (7pm), Cresta Oasis (8:30), Cresta Jameson (9:30pm)





  • 22 August- Bulawayo- The Lounge (1pm), Cresta Churchill (6pm), Nesbitt Castle (7pm), Copacubana (8:30pm), Pub Lagondola (9:30pm)



  • 23 August- Victoria Falls- The Africa Cafe (10:30am), Shear Water Cafe (1pm), The Lookout Cafe (4pm), Victoria Falls Safari Lodge (7pm), Cresta Sprayview (9:30pm)



The most comedy gigs in a week is 30 and was achieved by Mark Murphy (Australia), in 30 different venues around Australia, on 14-20 October 2007. Mark helped raise over $2,000 for the Camp Quality children's charity through ticket and t-shirt sales and donations during his attempt.
