<vote /> While addressing journalists at a press conference in the capital Harare, expelled Zanu-PF member, Godfrey Tsenengamu warned Zanu-PF youth not to threaten Evan Mawarire and other protesters whose protests are being done under the provisions of the Constitution of Zimbabwe which entitles people to freedom of expression. He also commented on police brutality and mentioned that the brutality was done with Mugabe's knowledge.

Tsenengamu also appeals to Bona Mugabe to advise Mugabe to resign,

Bona, some of us look at you as the most reasonable and reserved member of your father's family and I am sorry to drag you into these political issues. But I have no option, but traditionally and customarily after being named after your father's mother we regard you as his mother, Mbuya Bona. Please, may you on our behalf engage daddy and make him see reason in resigning whilst there are still some few who can respect and hold him high dearly for there shall be none soon. For if he can't realise this wicked truth that he has passed his best before date and has played it wrong this time and that things are falling apart around him then he will have no one to blame but himself as he forces an embarrassment at the coming polls.
