News:Family Members Cry As Magistrate Grants 11 Of 69 Protesters Bail

<vote /> Harare Magistrate has granted 11 of the protesters that were arrested on Friday during a protest called by opposition parties pushing for democratic reforms.

Family members of people arrested during protests where told to leave the court room and media and lawyers were the only ones allowed to stay.

The magistrate only granted bail to journalist James Jemwa who was arrested while covering opposition protests last week. He was granted 50 dollars bail. Security guards, pregnant woman, the elderly, university students were also granted bail.

Lawyers will approach the High court and apply for fresh bail.
