News:Harare City Council And ZRP To Demolish Illegal Settlements. Warns Vendors & Kombi Operators

<vote /> At a press conference today, acting Town Clerk for Harare City Council Josephine Ncube told journalists that Council will be working with ZRP to remove all illegal settlements in the city.

She all ordered people that invaded Crowborough, Churu and Eyestone farms to move out. The Town Clerk also advised residents not to splash your money on illegal activities and that anyone interested in securing municipal land should approach council .

Ncube also highlighted that Council has noted that most of the invasions are politically motivated. She also mentioned that illegal settlers at Crowborough farm faced a huge health risk since the farm is used for wastewater treatment.

Apart from speaking on illegal settlements, she warned vendors to sale their goods on designated places as well as commuter operators to operate on their designated routes.
