<vote /> Highlanders have confirmed that in form defender, Bruce Kangwa, has been invited for trials at an unnamed Tanzanian club, but Bosso will only be able to release the player during the mid-season break.

Highlanders chief executive officer Ndumiso Gumede confirmed that an agent was organising a deal for Kangwa in Tanzania, but he has to attend trial first.

Gumede said,

“There is a club in Tanzania that is interested in Kangwa. Regrettably, the negotiations were being done behind our back by an agent based in Harare. I had a talk with the player yesterday and he confirms that there is an interest in him from Tanzania. We wish him good luck. We have always said we won’t stand in the way of any player who may wish to go and improve himself.”

Kangwa who earlier this year extended his stay at Highlanders to until the end of the year, leads the scorers’ chart with six goals in 11 outings.

Bosso has also lost striker Knox Mutizwa, who travels to South Africa tomorrow to join his new club Bidvest Wits.
