News:MDC-T Headed For Another Split As Khupe's Supporters Reportedly Reject Chamisa, Mudzuri

<vote /> Sources suggest that the Movement for Democratic Change - Tsvangirayi (MDC-T) (MDC-T) is heading for another split.

Reliable sources have indicated that supporters of MDC-T Vice President Thokozani Khupe are reportedly openly rejecting Nelson Chamisa and Elias Mudzuri who were appointed by party leader Morgan Tsvangirai barely a fortnight ago.

Tsvangirai's elevation of the two was also challenged by members Patson Murimoga and George Rice who sought to have the appointments nullified arguing that they violated the party's constitution.(read full story here). On Tuesday 26 July 2016, MDC-T Youth Leader Happymore Chidziva urged senior party officials to express their views concerning the appointment of Chamisa and Mudzuri. He also accused senior party officials of sponsoring the court challenge by Murimoga and Rice.
