News:Met Depart to confirm 'snow' rumours
<vote /> The Zimbabwe Meteorological Department is yet to confirm the snow rumours that have been doing the rounds on social media. Senior forecaster Mr Tich Zinyemba warned that the pictures on social media maybe a hoax.
Mr Zinyemba also denied that snow could have fallen as he said that,
"What I suspect (if true) could be the possibility that frost may have occurred in the early hours of the morning somewhere in Gweru's environs but certainly not snow"
The Met Department is yet to visit the site where the snow is claimed to have fallen.
