News:Mutsvangwa's Son Accused Of Rape. Remanded To August 28 On $50 Bail

<vote /> Neville Mutsvangwa, who is the son of Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association chairman and former Norton legislator Christopher Mutsvangwa, appeared in court on Friday for allegedly raping a 43-year-old woman at an office in Harare. He appeared before Harare magistrate Mr Vakayi Chikwekwe charged with two counts of rape and aggravated indecent assault.

He was remanded to August 28 on $50 bail.

The court heard that the complainant was offered a lift to town after playing casino with Mutsvangwa. When they arrived at Harare Sports Club, Mutsvangwa drove to 3 San Fernando along Fifth Street and invited the complainant to his office.The complainant alleges she asked to use a toilet and indicated she wanted to leave but Mutsvangwa asked her to enter his office where he was allegedly already naked.

Mutsvangwa allegedly told her that he had been admiring her for a long time and wanted to have sexual intercourse with her and that when she refused, he allegedly grabbed her neck from behind and forced her to have oral sex with him before forcing her to undress.
