<vote /> Police yesterday arrested 36 people following yesterday's protests in various parts of Zimbabwe. Police arrested 15 white people including a Belgian national in Victoria Falls.

Police Chief Spokesperson Charity Charamba confirmed the arrests. She also denied social media reports that Choppies supermarket in Chitungwiza had been burnt down. Charamba also denied reports that the National Railways of Zimbabwe rail wagons had been burnt down.

Occupy Africa Unity Square activist, Linda Masarira was arrested together with other 19 people in Harare. Masarira is accused of throwing stones and burning stalls of innocent vendors.
