<vote /> Two Harare men, Godfrey Dhausi and Fortune Mutevedzi, both 26, appeared before magistrate Vongai Guuriro accused of cutting firewood worth $60 on President Mugabe's Buckland Estates in Borrowdale. The two pleaded not guilty violating the Forest Act.

They were ordered to pay a $100 fine each or face 30 days’ imprisonment for the offence. The complainant in this case was the State represented by a police officer, Romaldo Zungunde.

According to the State, the incident occurred on June 28 around 5pm when an informant received information that there was a truck in the Estate. Dhausi and Mutevedzi had cut down a tree and were in the process of loading firewood into the truck before they were then arrested.
