News:Police officer steals Benz at gun point

A Beitbridge police officer and his accomplice appeared in court for stealing a Mercedes Benz Viano at gunpoint.
Enos Mudhumbu and Jonathan Nyambuya were facing robbery charges when they appeared before Harare magistrate Mr Tendai Mahwe. They were remanded in custody to June 29.
It is alleged that on June 12 around 7 pm the duo entered in the yard of the complainant and produced pistols and threatened to shoot the complainant if he refused their demands. It is alleged the two demanded the keys to the Mercedes Benz Viano and the complainant complied.
The complainant later activated the vehicle tracking system resulting in the capture of the two.
