Religious leader and entrepreneur, Dr. Shingi Munyeza, has declared the Zimbabwe is now in severe turbulence and warned that the turbulence will last longer than expected.

Posting on his Facebook Page on 18 June, pastor said:

A little while ago I warned of severe turbulence. We have now entered into severe turbulence. The recent announcement by:

1. The Zimbabwe Medical Association to stop accepting medical aid cards.
2. The deferment of pay days for civil servants.
3. The arrest of Occupy Africa Unity Square Activists.
4. The citizen movement #THISFLAG made their debut encounter with a Government authority, the RBZ governor.
5. Unending banking queues and reprisals on companies not banking their cash immediately.
6. The questioning by authorities on individuals based on their public statements on public opinion.

The above has ushered us into severe turbulence.

Further warning - The severe turbulence will last longer than expected.

The following tips are important as an add on:
- Like on a plane do not try and change seats and think it's better on the other seat - We are all on the same plane including the crew.
- There will be irrational behaviour from everyone, even the crew - Do not copy anyone. Stick to authorised instruction manuals not what with the instructors are doing or saying.

- Abandon creature comforts for a while. It's not business as usual.

Munyeza has been criticised by government and Zanu-PF members like Jonathan Moyo for being a doomsayer. When, on May 28 this year, Munyeza released a document warning of severe turbulence in Zimbabwe, Moyo described it as a "#10pointplan with the actual evil intent" and said "One day @ShingiMunyeza is proffering a #10pointrecoveryplan & the next day he proffers a #10pointdoomsdayplan!".

Early this month, Munyeza was questioned by police for describing planned RBZ Bond Notes as "infamous".

Shingi Munyeza, is also the spokesperson of Zimbabwe Heads of Christian Denominations and head of the Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe (EFZ)
