News:Temba Mliswa Arrested

Former ZANU-PF Mashonaland West Province chairman and Hurungwe South legislator, Temba Mliswa was arrested for allegedly addressing an unauthorised gathering in Esigodini. The meeting was held in Habani at Athens Bar around 2pm and 25 youths were present. National police spokesperson Senior Commissioner Charity Charamba confirmed Mliswa's arrest by saying,

"I can confirm the arrest of Temba Mliswa on Sunday afternoon for addressing an unauthorised meeting in Esigodini in Matebeleland South Province. About 25 youths were present at the meeting."

Mliswa is the founder of Youth Advocacy for Reform and Democracy (YARD). He was arrested together with some his activists.
