News:Water Problems Continue For Harare As Council Announces Another Shutdown

<vote /> Harare City Council will shutdown Morton Jaffray Water Treatment Plant from tomorrow to Sunday evening to allow for the installation of new equipment at the plant.

In statement yesterday, the city’s acting corporate communications manager Mr Michael Chideme said,

The city will from time to time advise customers of planned shutdowns as we work towards completing the refurbishment of the water treatment plant. Residents are encouraged to store enough water to take them through the period of scarcity.

Harare residents have been experiencing water shutdowns as a result of ongoing refurbishments with the last shutdown being in July. (read more here)
