News:Winky D, Selmor Mtukudzi, Zimpraise Nominated For International Awards
<vote /> Selmor Mtukudzi has been nominated for the African Entertainment Awards USA. She has been nominated in the Best Female Single category.
Mtukudzi has been nominated for her single Zvidiki diki. Also niminated in the same category are South African musician Zahara, Nigerian songbird Seyi Shay, American born Kenyan Victoria Kimani, Cameroonian Lady Ponce and Tanzanian recording artist Vanesa Mdee.
Other Zimbabwean musicians that are nominated for the awards are Zimdancehall artist Winky D who is nominated in the Best Dancehall category whilst gospel outfit Zimpraise goes head to head with Pastor Bonnie Deuschle and Celebration Chior in the Best Gospel Artist category.
The awards will be held on 22 October 2016 at the Liberty Theater Elizabeth in New Jersey, USA. The awards honour all Africans and Africans of the Diaspora for their achievements. United States artists such as NeYo, Akon and Alicia Keys are also nominees.
