<vote /> Zimbabwe Cricket has made changes to their technical and playing squad. Coach Dav Whitmore and captain Hamilton Masakadza were relived of their duties following the cricket boards review of the team's performance at the World T20 in March. South African cricket legend Makhaya Ntini has been appointed interim coach and Graeme Cremer has assumed the role of interim captain.

Former Chevrons captain Tatenda Taibu has been appointed convener and Lance Klusener has been given a two year contract as a batting coach. The Zimbabwe Cricket board has also restructured the selection panel which now consists of a convener, head coach and captain.

This is not the first time Masakadza has been axed from captaincy. He was dropped in October 2015 before he came back and replaced Elton Chigumbura in all three formats of the game.
