<vote /> The Zimbabwe Warriors managed to qualify for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon after thrashing Malawi 3-0 this weekend at the National Sports Stadium. Here is a list of facts about Zimbabwe's Afcon history;

1. Zimbabwe last qualified for Afcon a decade ago.

2. Zimbabwe has qualified 3 times for the continental football showcase, that is in 2004, 2006 and 2017.

3. Only three coaches have helped Zimbabwe qualify for Afcon, namely; Sunday Chidzambwa in 2004, Charles Mhlauri in 2006 and Callisto Pasuwa 2017.

4. Only two captains have managed to qualify for Afcon namely; Peter Ndlovu and Willard Katsande.

5. Zimbabwean football legend Peter Ndlovu qualified twice for Afcon finals as captain.

6. Zimbabwe is yet to qualify beyond the group stages at any Afcon final.
