Nyanyadzi Hot Springs is a tourist attraction in Chimanimani, Manicaland Province Zimbabwe. The water which shoots from the springs is hot throughout the year and the temperature increases in winter.

From Mutare heading south on the A9 towards Birchenough Bridge, 62 KM pass Mutambara turnoff on the left, 80.6 KM turn right into Hot Springs From Birchenough Bridge heading north on the A9 to Mutare, 39.7 KM turn left into Hot Springs.

Background and Myths

The Nyanyadzi Hot Springs are located 21 km from Birchenough Bridge. The Hot Springs are one of the mythical places in the Eastern Highlands area. The local people believe that the area has spiritual healing powers that even the hot springs are mythically believed to cure skin diseases, remove spots and wrinkles from ones face. [1] There are many coins in the Hot Springs from different countries as a result of tourists who believe they will get luck out of life.
