Willard Khumalo was one of the most talented players to ever feature for Zimbabwe's Dream Team and Highlanders Football Club.

Khumalo hogged the limelight when he was still at Northlea High School when he became one of Zimbabwe's football schoolboy internationals. Khumalo was part of the Highlanders 1986 squad that won everything on offer in the domestic football arena. In 1989 he joined German Division One side Emstedden 05 before returning to play for Highlanders in 1990.

After retiring from football he turned into coaching and administration. He coached Bosso as assistant coach to Rahman Gumbo before taking over as coach. He also coached Zimbabwe Under-23. He was Highlander's welfare manager in 2013 up to the end of the 2014 premier league season. He passed away on August 23, 2015.
