Rutendo Kudakwashe Makore is a Zimbabwean footballer. She is a member of the National Team of Zimbabwe. Makore became the first Zimbabwean female player to break into the European top-flight league after she was signed by Spanish side Sporting Club de Huelva in 2017.


Background

Rutendo was born in Chegutu on 30 September 1992. She attended Norton’s Vimbai Primary School for her primary and St Eric High School for Secondary Education. She is engaged to Cliff Zundu. Makore is was a member of the Apostolic Sect before she joined Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries.[1]

Trivia

Makore enjoys playing netball in her leisure time. Her way of celebrating after winning a game is going for a braai.
