STUDIO ART PICTURES AFRICA (SAP) is a multi-award-winning Zimbabwean media & film production house based in Harare, Zimbabwe and Joburg, South Africa.
Background
It was founded July 2016 by Simbarashe (Sweezy) Mhandu and Gerald (Zezuru) Mushure. The arts and entertainment duo are also the directors of videography and photography at SAP.
History
The company has produced over 150 music videos, commercials and corporate videos among other film projects for several clients including local artists like Sulumani Chimbetu, Ammara Brown, Jnr Brown, Tehn Diamond, Soul Jah Love, Seh Calaz, Kadja, Memory Zaranyika, Shakie Tea, Tocky Vibes, Gray Beats, Edith Weutonga, King Shaddy, Shinsoman, Pah Chihera, Terry Africa, Nyasha Timbe and Styce. Also, international acts like East Side (South Africa) and Cardo Raps (South Africa). They also worked with Afro Kings, Chillspot Records, Rokaz Music Zimbabwe, Let Them Trust, Propables Studios, Fredda Rebecca Gold Mine and Mhishi Nkomo Legal Practitioners.
