Takunda Bimha is a Zimbabwean talent manager based in South Africa. He is the Founding Director of the Johannesburg International Comedy Festival. He is most known for having managed the hosting of an American late-night comedy/commentary television program The Daily Show, popular comedian Trevor Noah.
Personal Life
Bimha was born on 8 January 1979 to Virginia Bimha. He has a daughter Keiko with Natalie Haarhoff.[1]

Talent Management
Bimha established Podium in 2006 as a specialist comedy agency to develop, manage & continues to represent some of the best comedy talent in South Africa. The Podium went on to manage hugely popular comedians like Loyiso Gola, Trevor Noah, Kagiso Lediga, David Kibuuka and Conrad Koch.
Podium has produced television shows like the cutting edge Pure Monate Show, South Africa's biggest satirical news programme Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola, award winning Loyiso Gola for President and Trevor Noah's record breaking Daywalker.
Johannesburg International Comedy Festival
Bimha launched the Johannesburg International Comedy Festival with help from partner and mentor Gregoire Furrer. The festival is produced by Bimha Productions and Montreux Comedy.[3] The festival was launched in 2015 and had it's first edition from November 6 to 8 2015 in the inner city precincts of Braamfontein & Newtown featuring 42 comedians across 12 shows.[4]
