White City Stadium

White City Stadium is a sports stadium located in Bulawayo. It has a carrying capacity of 15,000. The stadium has been a venue for major national and regional sports tournaments. It has also been the home stadium for Bulawayo football teams such as Tsholotsho Football Club.

Incidents at White City Stadium

In June 2018, a bomb blast went off during President Emmerson Mnangagwa's rally. As the president left the stage after the Zanu-PF election campaign rally, there was a sudden explosion. Mnangagwa himself was not hurt but several people and senior Zanu-PF leaders were, including, Marry Chiwenga and Kembo Mohadi.
