Arthur Marara is a Zimbabwean lawyer, motivational speaker and author. He is the author of the Shine Series of textbooks which focus on A Level History and Divinity.


Marara is a Christian.[1]


He attended Mucheke High School where he was part of the first class of advanced level students. He is also the first lawyer from the school having graduated from the University of Zimbabwe.[1]


He worked as a relief teacher in Masvingo. He authored the Shine Series of Advanced Level textbooks which focus on Advanced Level divinity and history. Marara said he decided to become an author of textbooks in Form 5 and wanted to come up with a book that talks to, and inspires students.[1]

He has written columns in several newspapers which include; Sunday Mail (Motivation for Success), Herald (Business – Motivation), The Masvingo Mirror (Effective Living), The Mail (Faith), The Zimbabwean Mail (Daily Inspiration), The News Leader (Leadership Unlimited), Manica Post and Business Connect.[2]
