Career

Mpofu is one of the most prolific defenders to have played for Makepkepe and was well known for his hard tackling skills which earned him the name "Commando". He broke into the limelight playing for Makepekepe before moving to South Africa where he played for Supersport United and Umtata Bush Bucks. Commando also had a successful career with national senior side and was among the players that played in the country's maiden appearance at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Business Interests

After Dumi retired from football, he established Shalom Car Sales which not only sales vehicles but also hires out vehicles for weddings and personal use.[2]
