Known for his raw energy and magnetism, Kazz AKA Mr. Boomslang is established as one of the leading African Pop artists. Born Farhaan Khan, Mr. Boomslang is a bona fide proponent of the Afrobeats/RnB movement that has excited and fascinated the music world in equal measure in the past few years.
He stormed onto the international scene as one half of the sibling duo, BKay and Kazz in 2007 when their collaboration with Dancehall artist Decibel on the track Ndikati Hello cast a spotlight on them.
Since going solo, Kazz has worked on several projects which include his singles “Sweet Gal”, “International African” alongside JJC, “Shaking through the Night” and many more. This year Kazz decided persistence and consistency is his goal. In January Kazz released his first single and music video of 2016 “She’s Worth It” which reached the #1 spot twice on South African Channel (DSTV) Zambezi Magic, in February, he released his Valentines special single and video for “Can We Make It Work” and this March we will see the release of his latest single and video for “Thinking of You”. Kazz is on a mission and he’s not going to quit until he reaches his destination.
